Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Stealth POS ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our convenience-store back-office platform.
What we collect
When you sign up, we collect:
- Your business legal name, display name, and contact email
- The owner account password (stored as a one-way hash)
- Your stores' addresses and POS configuration details
- Data your POS system sends to our Edge agent — sales, fuel, tank, and receipt feeds, plus invoice images you choose to upload
How we use it
Data is used to render your dashboards, calculate reports, train AI features that act on your own data (invoice extraction, shrinkage detection, daily-brief narration), and bill your subscription. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Where it lives
Customer data is stored in AWS (US-East). Stripe processes payment information. Anthropic processes AI prompts derived from your data (invoice images, shrinkage reports). We do not retain prompts beyond what is necessary to deliver the feature.
Multi-tenant isolation
Every database row carries a tenant identifier. Our application code enforces row-level access at every read and write — your store's data is never visible to another tenant.
Your rights
You can export your data, request deletion of your account, or correct information at any time by contacting us. We delete inactive accounts and their data within 90 days of cancellation unless required by law to retain it longer.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies for authentication only. No third-party tracking pixels or advertising networks.
